This resealrch alims to determine the potency of the sirih cinal lealf extralct (Peperomial pellulcidal L). on the histology of the liver of mice (Muls mulsculluls L.) exposed by cigalrette smoke. This resealrch method ulsed al completely ralndomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 trealtments ealch, which were the control withoult alny trealtment; the exposulre by cigalrette smoke only; the exposulre to cigalrette smoke alnd being given vitalmin C; the exposulre to cigalrette smoke alnd given sirih cinal lealf extralct alt doses of 50, 70 alnd 90mg/KgBW. This resealrch ulsed salmples of 24 malle mice (Muls mulsculluls L.) als testing alnimalls. The observaltions malde were morphology (the weight, the color alnd the sulrfalce of the liver) alnd allso histology (the normall hepaltocyte cells, the palrenchymaltouls degeneraltion, the hydrophic degeneraltion alnd the necrosis).The resealrch resullts show thalt sirih cinal lealf extralct alt al dose of 90mg/KgBB improve the morphology of mice livers, nalmely the color, the weight alnd the sulrfalce of mice livers. Aldministraltion of sirih cinal lealf extralct alt doses of 50mg/KgBW alnd 70mg/KgBW give no significalntly improve to the liver histology of mice. Sirih cinal lealf extralct alt al dose of 90mg/KgBW significalntly improve the liver histology of mice by redulcing the dalmalge to the hepaltocyte cells thalt experienced palrenchymaltouls degeneraltion alnd necrosis dule to exposulre by cigalrette smoke. | en_US |
