dc.description.abstractThe flooding that occurred on Jalan Williem Iskandar Percut Pasar 5 was caused by high rainfall and its long duration in the area, so it required handling of the drainage channel capacity. In this research, 2 data are needed to be used, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data includes location surveys and interviews with surrounding communities, while secondary data accompanies rainfall data from related agencies. After the data was analyzed, it was discovered that the planned discharge (Qr) was greater than the channel discharge (Qs), so it was necessary to widen or increase the dimensions of the channel capacity, which originally had dimensions of height (h) = 1.1m and width (b) = 1. 3m, becomes Catchment area 1 with width (b) = 1.5m, height (h) = 1.4m, and Catchment area 2 with width (b) = 1.8m, height (h) = 1.5men_US
