| dc.description.abstract | Background: Based on preliminary observations at the Khairul Imam Medan
Integrated Islamic School Foundation, it can be seen that the types of active dynamic archives include: decision letters (SK), employee salary and benefit letters, invitation letters, and lists of employee names. The number of active dynamic archives at the Khairul Imam Medan Integrated Islamic School Foundation is approximately 1037 pieces. Active dynamic archive management activities have been carried out quite well. However, there are still several obstacles, such as rediscovering active dynamic archives manually so it takes a long time to find them, there is no list of contents of the archives that have been created and the employees who are given responsibility for managing the archives are staff who do not have an archival educational background.
Objective: This research aims to determine active dynamic archive management activities at the Khairul Imam Medan Integrated Islamic School Foundation.
Method: The data collection method used was literature study, observations, interviews, documentation.
Results: The research results show that active dynamic archive management activities at the Khairul Imam Medan Integrated Islamic School Foundation consist of creating, using, maintaining and depreciating archives. Archive creation activities are carried out using foundation procedures. Then, the archives are recorded or typed and then a classification code is created in accordance with the foundation's procedures; archive use activities are carried out by Foundation employees for their work needs, students for assignment purposes, and external parties such as students to conduct research, as well as the process of rediscovering archives which is still manual; Archive maintenance activities are carried out by periodically checking the condition of the archives and cleaning the archives from dust and dirt; Archive depreciation activities are carried out by sorting archives that are no longer needed, such as invitation
letters and employee permits. Conclusion: Dynamic archive management activities at the Khairul Imam Medan Integrated Islamic School Foundation have been carried out quite well, but there are still several obstacles in the archive management activities. | en_US |
