    Abstract
    Insects are part of the environment and have a special feature because insects are cosmopolitan animals, whose existence is spread all over the earth. Insects can be detrimental in general acting as pests of cultivated plants, damaging building materials. Mosquitoes are insects that often interfere with human life. In addition, mosquitoes can also spread Malaria, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and Filariasis. Various attempts have been made to eradicate mosquitoes, one of which is by using mosquito coils to become spray or aerosol repellents. However, it turns out that mosquito sprays are also starting to change into anti-mosquito products in the form of lotions and the use of electric mosquito coils, both liquid and paper. In this study the authors will carry out the design and construction of a high voltage generator that functions as an insect repellent, the authors will also conduct an analysis of the performance and efficiency of high voltage insect repellents. Based on the research results, this high-voltage insect repellent has a relatively high electrical efficiency, where the electrical efficiency obtained by the high-voltage insect repellent is around 99.04% with a voltage error percentage below 2% and the distance between the wires is the most suitable for insect repellents. this is about 0.12 cm, the insect repellent can generate a high voltage of around 5,942.57 volts, where the efficiency obtained by this high-voltage insect repellent is around 82.76%
