    Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is one of the most common health problems in society that causes various health problems. This disease is caused by the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito which transmits the dengue virus. Deli Serdang Regency is the district with the highest DHF coverage with 1,336 cases. The highest coverage was in the Tanjung Morawa sub-district with 154 cases, which made the Tanjung Morawa Health Center the highest DHF coverage with 92 cases (Deli Serdang District Health Profile, 2019). This study aims to determine the factors that influence community participation in the implementation of the Dengue Fever prevention program at the Tanjung Morawa Community Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency. This research is a quantitative analytic survey study with a cross sectional design. The sample used was 270 people with the sampling technique using Proportional Random Sampling. Data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis. Statistical test results using chi-square analysis found no relationship between age (p=0.851), education level (p=0.688), occupation (p=0.336), attitude (p=0.167), role stakeholders (p=1.000) with community participation in the implementation of DHF prevention, while there is a relationship between gender (p=0.019), knowledge (p=0,002) and sources of information (p=<0,001) and community participation in the implementation of DHF prevention. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between gender, knowledge and sources of information with community participation in the implementation of DHF prevention. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between gender, knowledge and sources of information on community participation in the implementation of DHF prevention. The variable that most influences community participation in the implementation of the DHF prevention program is the source of information. This research has implications for the puskesmas, especially puskesmas leaders, heads of agencies regarding the importance of community participation in the implementation of DHF prevention. This is also a reference for health workers to know and be more aware of the importance of interacting with the community, so that problems do not occur which can increase the incidence of DHF in their working areas.
