    Abstract
    Unsafe action is one of causes of work accident such as carelessness, not adhering to regulations, not obeying the standard of work procedure, not wearing APD (Protective Personal Device), and fatigue (Istih, 2017). The data of Japan Industrial Safety & Health Association in the U.S. revealed that there were 10,000 cases of fatal accident and more than two million cases of injury each year with the loss of more than 65 billion American dollars. Based on the data from BPJS, it was found that in 2020 there were 35,291 cases (with the proportion of 42.2%) of work accidents in West Java (BPJS of Manpower, 2022). The objective of this research was to analyze some factors which influenced unsafe action in the employees of PT Prima Abadi Jaya, Medan, in 2023. The research used observational analytic method with cross sectional design. The population 120 employees, and 51 of them were used as the samples, taken by using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument was questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses with Spearman test with linear regression test and enter method. The result of the research showed that therea was the influence of knowledge (p<0.001), attitude (p< 0.001) supervision (p<0, and K3 training (p< 0.005), but there were no influence of the length of service (p>0.222) and K3 socialization (p>0.108). The conclusion was that knowledge, attitude, supervision, and K training had significant influence on the employees' unsafe action. Meanwhile, knowledge and supervision had the most dominant factors which influenced the employees' unsafe action at PT. PAJ, Medan.
