Pengembangan Spot Welder Berbasis Timer Microcontroller Atmega 328

Abstract

In this study, experiments were conducted varying welding times from 500 to 3000 milliseconds at a constant voltage of 7.5 V. Measurement data revealed a proportional increase in power output from 89.4 to 237.15 Watts with longer welding times. This increase in power directly impacted the generated heat, rising from 44.7 to 830 Joules. Concurrently, temperature during welding showed a significant increase, from 3192 ℃ at 500 milliseconds to 22344 ℃ at 3500 milliseconds. These findings highlight that longer welding times result in higher energy expenditure and temperatures, crucial factors in determining welding joint quality and strength.
