The rice cultivation system using aquaponics is an alternative when rice farming land becomes increasingly limited. In the confined space of the aquaponic system, fish are raised, requiring the water's turbidity to be maintained to ensure the fish can thrive properly. The soil moisture where the rice is planted also needs to be consistently monitored to keep the rice plants in good condition. The mutually beneficial life cycle of fish and rice is one of the advantages of the aquaponic system. In this research, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system is designed to detect water turbidity and soil moisture in rice cultivation within the aquaponic system. This system uses two sensors: a turbidity sensor to measure water turbidity and a soil moisture sensor to monitor soil moisture. The data from these sensors will be sent to users in real-time via telemetry to the Node-Red platform for visual display. Users will take action upon receiving notifications from the monitoring system, such as replacing turbid water to maintain water clarity or automatically turning on the pump to stabilize humidity. From the testing results, it was found that the sensors worked well. Notifications were sent if the turbidity sensor readings were above 70 NTU and soil moisture above 45%. From the measurements taken, the average turbidity sensor readings of 68 NTU, 58 NTU, and 60 NTU indicated good turbidity levels for tilapia. Meanwhile, the average soil moisture sensor readings of 54%, 55%, and 51% indicated suitable soil moisture for rice plantsen_US
