    Abstract
    Generation Z is a generation that is starting to dominate the world of work, It is known that Generation Z employees is often moving from one place to another after surviving for less than two years at work called job hopping Leadership style is the way or method used by a leader to influencing,, directing and managing employees or an organization to achieve predetermined goals. It is one of the factors that can caused employee job hopping intention. The research method that will be used for this research is a comparative quantitative research method. Comparative research is research that aims to compare the variables. The sampling technique in this research used convenience sampling. The sample in this research was 91 generation Z employees in Medan. The data analysis technique used is independent t-test, if the data is normally distributed then data processing using parametric statistics, whereas if it is not normally distributed then the data is analyzed using non-parametric statistics. In this research, from the results of the normality test, it can be seen that the data results are not normally distributed, so using the non-parametric statistic Mann-Whitney Test. Based on the research results, it was found that the results of the Mann-Whitney Test found that there was no significant difference in the job hopping intention of generation Z. led by Generation X and Generation Y.
