This research aims to determine the role of social support on student engagement among USU students. This research used a quantitative approach, involving 396 USU students. The data collection method was carried out using two variables, namely the social support variable and the student engagement variable. The data obtained was processed using an analytical method using multiple linear regression tests. The results of research using partial hypothesis testing show that emotional support has a positive and significant effect on student engagement (0.000 < 0.05), tangible support has no effect on student engagement (0.131 > 0.05), informational support has a positive and significant effect on students (0.003 < 0.05) , appraisal support has a positive and significant effect on students (0.000 < 0.05). The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that emotional, tangible, informational, and appraisal support together have a significant effect on student engagement among USU students.
