Gambaran Nasionalisme pada Generasi Z di Kota Medan

Abstract

This research aims to see how the nationalism in Generation Z in the city of Medan. This research involved 100 peoples in generation Z in the city of Medan who were taken using the Accidental Sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the Nationalism scale developed by Blank and Schmidt (2003) and then modified by Ari Widiyanta et al in 2023. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate the descriptive value of nationalism of Generation Z in the city of Medan province as many as 92 (83,6%) indigenous people have nationalism in the high category, 12 (10,9%) indigenous people have nationalism in the medium category, and 6 (5,5%) participants in the low category. The test results show that nationalism in generatin z in Medan city tends to be in the high category.
