    Abstract
This study aims to determine the response of sweet corn (Zea mays L.) plants to the application of durian peel liquid organic fertilizer (POC) and determine the best concentration of durian peel liquid organic fertilizer for sweet corn growth. Durian peel liquid organic fertilizer was made by fermentation for 2 weeks by adding EM4 as inoculum. POC on corn plants using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four POC treatments namely 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and one control (without POC). The growth responses of sweet corn observed were plant height, root length, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, crown dry weight, root dry weight, crown and root ratio, relative growth rate, chlorogyll A, chlorophyll B and total chlorophyll. The durian peel POC produced had a pH of 4.69 with the percentage of C-Organic content, total N and P2O5 respectively 1.33%, 0.10% and 0.15%. POC application on sweet corn at 25% concentration gIve a real response to plant height, root length, crown dry weight and root dry weight. POC concentration of 100% gave a real response to the relative growth rate and chlorophyll B while the root crown ratio, chlorophyll A and Total had more effect on POC with a concentration of 75%. The number of leaves, leaf area and stem diameter showed no significant difference. Overall, 25% POC concentration gave the best response to the growth of sweet corn plants.
