dc.description.abstract | Malnutrition is one of the health, problems that contribute to morbidity and mortality roles in children. Malnutrition in children is a problem that often occurs in developing countries, including Indonesia. Mothers as primary care have direct involvement in the nutritional status of children. The objective of this research is 10 explore mothers experiences in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers with, malnutrition in Klumpang Kebun village. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Participants in this research are mothers who have toddlers with malnutrition in Klumpang Kebun villlage with the total of 3 people, taken by using a purposive sampling technique. The data are collected by conducting in depth i11tervie111s and are analyzed using the Collaizzi method. The research results obtain 3 themes, namely: (I) Sources of information above malnutrition, (2)Mothers' efforts to overcome malnutrition, (3)Mothers' obstacles in fulfilling nutrition. The research conclusion find that mothers receive information on malnutrition through electronic media and health workers, Various efforts are made to overcome malnutrition by providing supplements and complying with public health center programs, however, economic constraints, lack of
knowledge on malnutrition, in adequate nutritional requirements for children, and lack of information from health workers are obstacles in fulfilling nutrition for children. It is suggested for health, workers to improve services for mothers in fulfilling nutrition and to be more active in pro,1idi11g information about 1111trition 10 mothers who are toddlers with malnutrition, so that they know the importance of improving nutritional status and proper feeding practices. | en_US |
