A perineal wound is a tear that occurs during childbirth, either spontaneously or through the use of instn1ments or procedures. One alternative method for perineal wound healing is the use of green betel leaf preparations. This study aims to determine the effect of green betel leaf preparations on perineal wound healing at Rumah Bersalin Bromo. This research employs a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design involving two groups. The sample consists of postpartum mothers, with 8 in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. Data collection was conducted using observation sheets. The research instrument employed the REEDA scale, and data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p-value of 0.010 (< 0.05), indicating that the pre-post intervention group's wound healing improvement was significant compared to the control group. The Mann-Whitney test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a very significant difference in post-test wound healing improvement between the control and intervention groups. This study demonstrates that green betel leaf preparation positively affects perinea/ wound healing in postpartum mothers. The findings suggest that green betel leaf preparation can be increasingly utilized as a non pharmacological treatment for perineal wounds.
