dc.description.abstractAccording to the Indonesian Renal Registry (IRR) report of 2018, the number of hemodialysis patients in Indonesia reached 864484 people. (Kementrian Kesehatan RI, 2020). The quality of life of hemodialysis patients is an important part of the benchmark for the success of health care interventions as there are various factors that affect the quality of living of patients. The kidney is one of the most important organs that has a role in overall health. The kidneys play an important role in regulating the balance of fluid electrolytes, basic acids and hormones. This study confirms the quantitative method with the design used in this study is a descriptive study aimed at identifying the quality of life of hemodialysis patients in the city of Medan. In this study, it can be concluded that the quality of life of hemodialysis patients in the city of Medan has a good category as much as 86.3% of respondents, category quite 11.1%, and category very good 2.6%.en_US
