dc.description.abstractThe title of this thesis is "Local Wisdom Values in the Legend of Lake Si Losung and Si Pinggan in Silaban Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency". This thesis explains the existence of the legend, then looks for the values of local wisdom in the story, the reason why the lake is referred to as "Si Losung" and "Si Pinggan" and how it affects the local community. The writing of this thesis uses qualitative descriptive methods. As for the source The conclusion of this paper is that the reason for the terms Si Losung and Si Pinggan was made because of the collision of Datu Dalu and Sangmaima over several problems by throwing "Losung" mortar and "Pinggan" plates to fall in two different villages. The mortar fell and formed a lake in Siponjot village and the falling plate formed a lake in Pargaulan village, Lintong Nihuta District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. While the impact on the local community can be used for daily life.en_US
