Peran Self-Determination terhadap Work Performance pada Guru Santa Maria Tarutung

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-determination on work performance in Santa Maria Tarutung teachers. In this study, the number of research subjects used was 52 respondents with population research techniques. The instrument used is the Self-Determination Scale (SDS) developed by Sheldon & Deci (1996), and then underwent instrument adjustments by Muttaqin (2023) to translate the Self-Determination Scale (SDS) from English to Indonesian. In addition, an Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) developed by Koopmans (2014) was also used, and then adapted into Indonesian into job performance questionnaire by Widyastuti and Hidayat (2018). The research method used is causality research with simple regression analysis techniques using the T test. Data processing was carried out with the help of Jeffrey's Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) 0.18.1 for windows. The results showed that the self-determination variable did not play a role in work performance with a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.003 and a significance level of p = 0.986.
