    Abstract
Decreased estrogen secretion from the ovaries in postmenopausal women will cause osteoporosis due to Vitamin D deficiency and oral manifestations in the form of decreased salivation rate. This study aims to examine the relationship between salivary estrogen and salivary 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D and saliva flow rate. The type of research is analytical survey research with a cross sectional method. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique to obtain 52 subjects with inclusion criteria, namely women who had experienced menopause for at least 2 year and were diagnosed with osteoporosis, not taking vitamin D supplements, antihypertensives, antihistamines, antidepressants, not using estrogen replacement hormones, suffering from hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Sjogren's Syndrome, diabetes, obesity, not currently undergoing cancer therapy and cooperative. The exclusion criteria for using removable denture and removable partial denture, vomit, and can’t sit. Data were collected using the spitting method, then whole saliva samples were calculated for estrogen levels and 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D levels by examination using ELISA and the saliva flow rate. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results of this study showed that subjects with an age range of 55-59 had the highest percentage, namely 32.7% (17 people). The mean value and standard deviation of saliva estrogen was 0.008 ± 0.030 ng/ml, saliva 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D were 8.51 ± 3.74 mg/dl, and saliva flow rate was 0.177±0.06 ml /minute. Based on the results of the Spearman correlation test between estrogen saliva with 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D saliva the value was significant (p<0,001) in the positive direction (r=0,925) and estrogen with saliva saliva flow rate the value was significant (p<0,001) in the positive direction (r=0,818). The conclusion of the research is that in postmenopausal women there is a relationship between salivary estrogen, salivary 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D and salivary flow rate with a positive correlation and significant value, which means that the lower the salivary estrogen levels, the lower the salivary 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D levels and salivary flow rate.
