dc.description.abstractThis study discusses the analysis of homophones in a collection of children's poetry by Wang Yanjun. This study aims to analyze the form of homophones contained in a collection of children's poetry and semantic relations of homophones based on word classes in Mandarin. The method used by the author is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are 20 (twenty) homophones found in 40 (forty) children's poetry texts by Wang Yanjun. After the data is collected, then the data is analyzed with the theory of lexical semantics. The results of the analysis found different forms of homophones and the semantic relations of these homophones belong to several different word classes.en_US
