Electricity is energy that can be converted into other energy, producing heat, light, chemistry, or motion. The use of electricity is very visible in daily activities such as turning on lights and other electronic devices. Large electricity bills occur due to intentional or unintentional waste of electricity. There are cases of electricity theft that are unknown so that suddenly the bill that has to be paid exceeds normal usage. Efforts to save electricity bill costs, namely by increasing electricity efficiency with a power capacity of 2200 VA, can be done by improving the quality of electric power. Researchers will design an automatic reactive power compensation system to improve and increase the power factor value as an effort to increase electric power efficiency. Based on research results, the average increase in power factor in this power factor improvement system is around 0.11 with a direct power compensation of around 418.73 VAR, the power factor improvement system can send sensor readings and power factor measurement results to the thingspeak platform in graphic format in 5 once a second and the average reduction in electrical energy consumption costs is around Rp. 131.32 per hour, it is assumed that the savings that occur in 1 month are around Rp. 94,549,611en_US
