Pro-Environmental Behavior pada Petani Kelapa Sawit di Koperasi X Bersertifikat RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil)

Abstract

The increase in the area of oil palm plantations must be accompanied by an increased awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability in order to encourage oil palm smallholder to engage in pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to examine the behavior of oil palm smallholder who are members of Cooperative X and have obtained RSPO certification (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil). The methods used in this study are quantitative descriptive methods and sampling techniques using accidental sampling. The number of samples in this study is 120 RSPO-certified oil palm smallholder who are members of Cooperative X. The results of this study show the overview of pro-environmental behavior in oil palm smallholder in general, based on age, education level and length of association with cooperatives.
