dc.description.abstractThis research aims to examine the effect of work boredom on cyberloafing behavior in generation Z employees in Medan. Cyberloafing is defined as internet misuse activities by employees who use the company's internet network during working hours to surf sites that are not related to work for personal gain. Job boredom refers to a state where individuals have low morale and dissatisfaction which is the result of a work environment that does not stimulate employees. This research was conducted on generation Z employees in Medan City. Generation Z is the generation born between 1996 and 2012. This research data was collected by distributing online questionnaires in the form of Google Form to 362 subjects. Hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis techniques. The results of the hypothesis test show the Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, in other words the hypothesis of this research is accepted, meaning that there is a positive influence of work boredom on cyberloafing in generation Z employees in Medan Cityen_US
