    Abstract
Background: In the determination of multicomponent levels by UV spectrophotometry, if drug compounds were obtained with maximum wavelengths that were close to each other and interfered with each other, the determination of levels was carried out by developing UV spectrophotometry method. The determination of quercetin and vitamin C levels using the Dual Wavelength Method (DWM) was one of the methods that could be used to determine the drug levels in the mixture simultaneously without prior separation. Objective: This research aimed to developed a Dual Wavelength spectrophotometry method for the simultaneous determination of quercetin and vitamin C levels in tablet preparation using ultraviolet spectrophotometry and met the validation requirements of the method. Method: Validation of the methods included linearity, accuracy, precision, LOD and LOQ parameters. Dual Wavelength rates were determined by measuring the absorption difference between 238 and 252 nm for quercetin and between 250 and 260 nm for vitamin C. Results: Based on the results of the research, it was shown that the Dual Wavelength Method (DWM) met the validation parameters requirement (linearity, accuracy, presicion, LOD and LOQ). The average content of quercetin and vitamin C in the LE tablets dissolved in the methanol solvent was 92.46% ± 0.43% for quercetin and 99.50% ± 0.85% for vitamin C. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the determination of the levels of quercetin and vitamin C in the tablet preparation by the Dual Wavelength Method (DWM) met the requirements specified in the Farmakope Indonesia VI Edition (2020).
