    Abstract
    Shelled corn is corn kernels that have been separated from the cobs by a special technique without slicing the corn kernels. Shelled corn is also utilized as one of the raw foods of the food industry such as processed into oil, corn flour, and snacks such as popcorn and also used as animal feed ingredients. Today, piping is done manually or mechanically but to obtain optimal results it is necessary to test the appropriate rotation speed on the corn sheller machine. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different pulley diameters on the effective capacity of the corn sheller, yield and percentage of material left behind. The pulley diameters used were 4 inches (P1), 6 inches (P2) and 8 inches (P3) in this study using non-factorial RAL. The results showed that from the three treatments, the effect on each parameter was significantly different. Optimal results were obtained in the treatment (P3) of 8-inch pulley diameter with an effective capacity of the tool of (26.2 kg / hour), yield of (83%) and the percentage of material left in the tool of (17%) where the larger the diameter of the pulley used, the more optimal the piping results will be obtained because the speed and time produced by the diameter of the pulley 8 is slower so that it affects the piping results.
