dc.description.abstract | This research discusses the vegetable lexicon in the Toba Batak community in Parbuluan District and describes the level of understanding of the Toba Batak community towards the vegetable lexicon in Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency. The development of time makes people pay less attention to vegetable lexicon especially among young people. Thus, the vegetable lexicon in Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency resulted in many endangered vegetables. This research describes the vegetable lexicon in the Toba Batak community in Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency. The theory used in this research is the dialectical theory of social praxis which includes three dimensions of social praxis, namely the ideological dimension, biological dimension, and sociological dimension with an ecolinguistic approach. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. The methods used for data collection in this study are the chap method, interviews and giving questionnaires (questionnaires) to respondents. The data of this research is vegetable lexicon in Toba Batak community in Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency. The results of the analysis show that there are thirteen types of vegetable lexicon in the Toba Batak community in Parbuluan District, Dairi Regency. | en_US |
