dc.description.abstract | A novel is a variety of prose that is basically a form of long story. Novels contain various conflicts that are told and trigger the creation of a literary work. One of the conflicts that are often contained in novels is domestic conflict. This writing aims to describe the household problems contained in the novel Critical Eleven by Ika Natassa in terms of literary sociology. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The data analysis technique is in the form of reviewing and drawing conclusions as a research conclusion. The results of this study indicate that there are 10 types of household problems contained in the novel Critical Eleven by Ika Natassa, namely; (1) Absence of trust, (2) Lack of closeness, (3) Lack of communication, (4) Resentment, (5) Career busyness, (6) Differences of opinion, (7) Stress, (8) Jealousy, (9) Selfishness, and (10) Inability to manage anger. Household problems contained in the novel are motivated by six factors, namely; (1) Ignoring Boundaries, (2) Not Open to Spouse, (3) Pessimistic about Marriage, (4) Losing Children, (5) Avoiding Problems, and (6) Trauma. | en_US |
