This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of social media
marketing and sales promotion on purchasing interest at IndiHome in Medan City.
This type of research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative
data. The population in this study is 135.265 people in Medan Sunggal District. The
number of sampels in this study was 96 people with a sampling technique using
purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression
analysis. The results of this research show that social media marketing and sales
promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on people’s buying
interest in IndiHome in Medan City. Social media marketing has a positive and
significant effect on people’s buying interest in IndiHome in Medan City. Sales
promotion has a positive and significant effect on people’s buying interest in
IndiHome in Medan City.
