Abstract

The web-based information system for the distribution of agricultural tools and machinery at the Labuhanbatu Regency Agriculture Service has not yet been implemented and data storage is still done manually, so that the storage and processing of this information is not effective and efficient. In the system it takes a relatively long time. More than that, information seekers or decision makers also experience difficulties in obtaining the data they need. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further development of the information system. Web-based information systems are considered to be a solution for faster, more systematic and easy-to-use information access. Apart from that, the designed website will show the percentage of potential increase in tool use in each sub-district. With this potential percentage, the government can pay attention to allocating aid to areas that really need it. For this reason, an information system for the distribution of agricultural tools and machines was designed using Wordpress CMS, Apache web server, PHP programming language and MySQL database.
