Hubungan Program Pendampingan UMKM Binaan Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Pematangsiantar

Abstract

The UMKM mentoring program is one of Bank Indonesia’s (BI) strategies to enhance the capavity and competitiveness of UMKM through various activities. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the mentoring program conducted by the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in Pematangsiantar and the growth of mentored micro businesses. The research method used is a questionnaire, collecting data by asking questions to be answered by 36 respondents using Google Forms. Data analysis was performed using SPSS. Based on the interview with consultant form the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Pematangsiantar several forms of mentoring programs were indentified, such as WUBI, administration and finansial recording, halal certification, promotion activities,and exhibitions by the Central Bank of Indonesia. The results of the correlation coefficient test between the UMKM mentoring variable and the micro business growth variable, a result of 0.990 was obtained, indicating a very strong correlation with the highest mean of 5.00 and the lowest mean of 4.47. Additionally, based on the significant value (sig. 2-tailed), the sig. (2-tailed) value between UMKM mentoring (X) and micro business growth (Y) is 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between UMKM mentoring and micro business growth.
