    Studi Eksperimental Karakteristik dan Performa Kampas Rem Serbuk Sabut Kelapa dengan Menggunakan Sepeda Motor Satria FU 150

    Abstract
    Kampas rem adalah suatu komponen rem yang paling penting dalam kinerja pengereman, kampas rem adalah suatu material komposit yang tersusun dari beberapa bahan penyusun dan pengikat. Kampas rem ada dua jenis yaitu Abestos yaitu 40 s/d 60%, resin 12% s/d 15%, BaSO4 14% s/d 15%, sisanya karet ban bekas, tembaga sisa kerajinan dan frictdust dan kampas rem non asbestos yang terbuat dari aramyd atau Kevlar, rockwool, fiberglass, potasiumtitanate, carbonfiber, graphite, cellulose, vemiculate, steelfiber, BaSO4, resin phenolic, nitrile butadiene rubber. Pada penelitian ini peneliti membuat kampas rem non asbestos dari material serbuk serabut kelapa dengan variasi komposisi 20% serbuk sabut kelapa, 15% MgO, 15% Al dan 25% resin epoxy 25% hardener. 25% serbuk sabut kelapa , 15% MgO, 10% Al dan 25% resin epoxy 25% hardener. 30% serbuk sabut kelapa 15% MgO, 5% Al dan 25% resin epoxy 25% hardener. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan karakteristik dan performa kampas rem menyerupai kampas rem non asbestos yang ada dipasaran seperti federal. Pengujian karakteristik dan performa kampas rem yang diteliti berupa kekerasan, kekasaran, keausan, jarak pengereman, waktu pengereman, koefisien gesek kampas rem dengan disk break, dan pertambahan panas yang dihasilkan karena gesekan yang terjadi. Karakteristik yang mendekati nilai pasaran nilai kekerasan 22.3 Kgf/mm2 kekasaran dan keausan 3.189 um dan 0.00479115 gram/mm2.s adalah komposisi A dengan nilai 19,30 Kgf/mm2, 2,908 um, 0.0331 gram/mm2.s. Performa yang mendekati performa kampas rem merek federal dengan nilai jarak pengereman 17.28 m, waktu pengereman 1.94 s, panas yang dihasilkan 46.66667oC, dan koefisien gesek 0.812 pada kecepatan 60km/h dengan gaya tekan pedal rem sebesar 30N, dari standar performa jarak yang mendekati adalah komposisi A 15.2 m, Waktu pengereman komposisi C 2,04 s. koefisien gesek komposisi C 0.6364, dan panas komposisi C 84,3oC,.
     
    Brake lining is the most important brake component in braking performance, brake lining is a composite material composed of several constituents and binders. There are two types of brake lining: Abestos is 40 s / d 60%, resin 12% s / d 15%, BaSO4 14% s / d 15%, the remaining rubber tires, copper scrap remnants and frictdust.dan non asbestos brake lining Made of aramyd or Kevlar, rockwool, fiberglass, potasiumtitanate, carbonfiber, graphite, cellulose, vemiculate, steelfiber, BaSO4, phenolic resin, nitrile butadiene rubber. In this research the researcher make non asbestos brake lining from sugar cane material with variation of composition of 20% coconut fiber powder, 15% MgO, 15% Al and 25% 25% hardener epoxy resin. 25% coconut fiber powder, 15% MgO, 10% Al and 25% 25% hardener. 30% coconut fiber powder, 15% MgO, 5% Al and 25% 25% hardener epoxy resin. The purpose of this study is to obtain the characteristics and performance of brake lining that resembles non-asbestos brake lining that is on the market like a federal. Testing of brake lining characteristics and performance examined in the form of hardness, roughness, wear, braking distance, braking time, brake coefficient of brake liner with disc break, and the increase of heat generated due to friction happened. Characteristics close to the market value of hardness 22.3 Kgf / mm2 roughness and wear 3.189 um and 0.00479115 gram / mm2.s is composition A with value 19,30 Kgf/mm2, 2,908 um, 0.0331 gram/mm2.s. Performance close to federal brake brake performance with a braking distance of 17.28m, 1.94s of braking time, 46.66667oC of heat generated, and a coefficient of frictional 0.812 at 60km / h with 30N brake press force from near-range performance standards is Composition A 15.2 m, braking time C composition 2,04 s. Coefficient of friction composition C 0.6364, and hot composition C 84,3 oC.
