    Abstract
TPI Gabion and TPI Pantai Labu are TPI in North Sumatra. One of the fish commodities landed in these two TPI is stingrays. The type of fish obtained was then measured in length and weight. The results of the study concluded that there were 7 types of stingrays traded in TPI Gabion which were dominated by frog rays (Neotrygon kuhlii) and 4 in TPI Pantai Pumpu which were dominated by tuka-tuka rays (Brevitrygon heterura). This research was conducted from October to December at TPI Gabion and TPI Pantai Labu. This study aims to find out the types of stingrays, economic value, growth patterns and economic value traded in the two TPIs. There are 7 species traded in TPI Gabion, namely Neotrygon kuhlii, Hemitrygon longicauda, Maculabatis gerrardi, Rhyncobatus australiae, Brevitrygon heterura, Gymnura poecilura, Rhinobatos sp, while in TPI Pantai Labu there are 4 species, namely Brevitrygon heterura, Maculabatis gerrardi, Gymnura poecilura and Hemitrygon longicauda. The composition of stingrays traded at TPI Gabion is 479 individuals dominated by Neotrygon kuhlii while at TPI Pantai Labu as many as 275 individuals are dominated by Brevitrygon heterura. The highest economic value of stingrays at TPI Gabion is the species Rhyncobatus australiae with a price of Rp. 18000-200000, for the highest economic value at TPI Pantai Labu is Maculabatis gerrardi with a price of Rp. 45000 – 55000. The conservation status of stingrays traded in TPI Gabion and TPI Pantai Labu has one species that is included in the 'Data Deficient' list, namely Neotrygon kuhlii, one species classified as 'Endangered', namely maclubatis gerradi, one species classified as 'Vulnarable', namely Gymnura poecilura, two species classified as 'Near Threatened', namely Brevitrygon heterura and Hemitrygon longicauda. 2 species are classified as 'Critically Endangered', namely Rhyncobatus australiae and Rhinobatus sp. Stingrays landed at TPI Gabion and TPI Pantai Labu have a negative allometric growth pattern.
