This research aims to describe the hierarchy of needs in the novel
Nadhira's World by Alnira, starting from basic needs to the highest needs so that
it can be seen that Nadhira's character's hierarchy of needs is fulfilled. This
research uses Abraham Maslow's Humanistic psychology theory which starts
from physiological needs, the need for security, the need for love and belonging,
the need for self-esteem, and the highest need for self-actualization as the
research object. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which describes
data through words that show the hierarchy of needs of the character Nadhira in
the novel Nadhira's World by Alnira. The data source in this research is the novel
Dunia Nadhira by Alnira. The data collection method for this research is
literature study. The data analysis technique used is presenting data, grouping
data, verifying data and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are a
hierarchy of needs for the character Nadhira in the novel Nadhira's World by
Alnira. These needs start from physiological needs, the need for security, the need
for love and belonging, the need for self-esteem, and the need for selfactualization.
