This thesis analyzes of the main character archetypes portrayed in Madeline Miller's novel Circe. The study aims to identify the main character archetypes and examine how the main character settle down the archetype figures. The research employs a qualitative method to describe and understand the depiction of archetypes through the main character and the characters found to be owned by the main character in the novel Circe. The data is taken from the novel in the form of quotes, words, phrases, and paragraphs, which are then analyzed through the phases of compiling, disassembling, reassembling, interpreting, and concluding. The conceptual framework of the study is based on Carl Gustav Jung's theory of archetypes, including the categories of persona, anima/animus, shadow, and self. Additionally, character theory is used to analyze the portrayal of the main character. The findings of the study are expected to provide insights into the various aspects of human personality reflected through the archetypal representation in the novel.en_US
