dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine the types of sexual harassment in the workplace experienced by women characters in the movie “She Said.” The theories used in this research are intrinsic elements by Klarer which talks about the intrinsic elements of literary works with a focus on characters and settings and the types of sexual harassment by Gruber which talks about the types of sexual harassment in the workplace environment. The method used in this research is the content analysis method. Content analysis was used because this study needs to identify the types of sexual harassment and the circumstances leading to sexual harassment in the content of this movie. The finding of the study is the seven types of sexual harassment, such as sexual bribery, relational advances, personal remarks, sexual categorical remarks, sexual assault, sexual touching, and sexual posturing experienced by women characters in the workplace. Also, the circumstance leading to sexual harassment in this movie is because there was a power dynamic between the producer as the superior to the women assistants and the actresses as the inferior. It can be concluded this research could anticipate a decrease in cases because people are aware of the various forms of sexual harassment that women may encounter at work through modern literary work. | en_US |
