The research indicators include types of illocutionary acts which are representative, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative. The contextual factors in Sri Mulyani’s speech consist of setting, participant, end, act sequence, key, instrumentalities, norms, genre. The study found that there were 54 illocutionary acts with representative as the most dominant, and 20 contextual factors underlying the use of illocutionary acts in the speech with act sequence as the most dominant contextual factor.
