Analisis Nilai Ekonomi, Produksi dan Faktor Produksi Gubal Gaharu di Kelurahan Pekan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Agarwood is one type of non-timber forest product that has high economic value in various types of products produced, especially sapwood. The high or low selling price of agarwood sapwood is influenced by the quality or quality of each class. One area that has considerable agarwood potential is in Pekan Bahorok Village, Langkat Regency. The potential of agarwood is utilized by the Kemagahan Forest Farmer Group in Pekan Bahorok Village by conducting cultivation businesses. This study aims to calculate the production yield and economic value of agarwood sapwood and analyze the factors that affect the production yield of agarwood sapwood in Pekan Bahorok Village, Langkat Regency. The method used in this study is observation and survey method on agarwood stands. The study respondents were determined by purpossive sampling. The results showed that the total productivity of agarwood sapwood from 2013 – 2022 was 384.84 kg. The economic value of agarwood sapwood produced from 2013 - 2022 is the highest of IDR129,600,000 in 2013 with B-C sapwood class, while the lowest economic value of agarwood sapwood is IDR1,700,000 in 2019 with C-D sapwood class. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the diameter of the agarwood tree trunk, the age of the tree when harvested, the type of inoculation method and the depth of the inoculation pit together have a significant effect on the production of agarwood sapwood. While the diameter of the agarwood tree trunk and the type of inoculation method partially affect the production of agarwood sapwood.
