    Abstract
Eucalyptus sp. is one of the fastest-growing species and is very important for the pulp and paper industry. Plants that previously used seven years of recycling have changed due to the use of cross-bred plants. Forest harvest waste in the form of Eucalyptus leaves can be used to make essential oil through a distillation process. This research aims to 1) Determine the yield of essential oil from the leaves of ten types of Eucalyptus clones, 2) Calculating the potential production of Eucalyptus essential oil in the PT TPL logged area in the Aek Nauli sector, 3) Analyze differences in the yield of essential oil between clones, 4) Determine the best clone in producing the highest yield of Eucalyptus oil growing in the HTI area of PT TPL Sector Aek Nauli . Eucalyptus trees aged four years from 10 types of clones were cut down. Three trees were cut from each clone as repetition. The leaves are picked and then stored for one day. The leaves are distilled using the steam method for 1.5 hours. The yield of the oil produced is determined. Data analysis used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with ten treatment levels. The research results showed that clones differences influenced the yield of essential oils. Further tests were carried out and showed that the clone treatment significantly affected the results of the essential oils obtained. The highest yield from clones of crossing E. grandis and E. urophylla was 0.44%.
