Analisis Pendapatan dan Kelayakan Finansial Usaha Kelompok Pengrajin Daun Pandan Duri Kanan Kreatif, Desa Pantai Cermin Kanan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

As technology develops, Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFP) commodities have the opportunity to become products that are sold in markets ranging from small, medium to large scale. Pantai Cermin Kanan Village is a village located in Serdang Bedagai Regency where many people are housewives. To improve their standard of living, they utilize NTFPs that are very potential there, namely pandan duri (Pandanus tectorius) leaves as woven which are incorporated in a group of craftsmen called Kanan Kreatif. This research aims to analyze the income and financial feasibility of the Creative Kanan Group business in 2022. This research was conducted in October-December 2023 with a sample size of 38 craftsmen and 0.16 hectares of land. This research was conducted using observation and interview methods. Based on the results of the study, the potential of duri pandanus obtained is around 23.43 clumps per hectare so that the potential of duri pandanus stands in the research area is considered low. The Creative Right Group business in 2022 managed to collect revenue of IDR1.271.000.000,00 with an R/C Ratio value of 1.20 and was declared feasible to develop, and obtained an income of IDR210.628.000,00. To maximize the business of this group, the government needs to play a role in providing training to craftsmen in the form of product creativity, bookkeeping to marketing.
