dc.description.abstract | This research describes the categorization and meaning of professional words in Indonesian. The data used is written data. Data was collected using the observation method. Then the data was analyzed using the matching method and the addition method. The results are presented using formal and informal methods. The theory used is the theory of natural semantic metalanguage. The results of the research show that professional words in Indonesian are categorized into ten, namely: law, education, health, arts, communications, religion, security and disaster management, transportation, culinary, and based on field. government.
