dc.description.abstractThis research aims to describe the social values contained in the novel Garis Tiket by Fiersa Besari. This study used qualitative research methods. The data source in this research is the novel Garis Tiket by Fiersa Besari with the research focus being social values which are studied using a literary sociology approach which refers to Zubaedi's theory. The data collection technique used in this research was carried out in several steps, namely: 1) Reading; 2) Understand the content of the story; 3) Search and record text data; and 4) The data that has been collected will then be analyzed in relation to the issues raised. The results of the research show the following: The social values contained in the novel Garis Tiket by Fiersa Besari are the social values of love in the form of devotion and loyalty, then the social values of responsibility in the form of a sense of belonging, discipline and empathy. Lastly, there is the social value of harmony in life in the form of tolerance.en_US
