Campur Kode dalam Video Youtube Playlist Maudy Ayunda’s Booklist

Abstract

This study aims to describe the code mix in the YouTube video of Maudy Ayunda's booklist playlist. The problem studied was how the forms of code mixing were found, what types of code mixing were found, and what were the factors that caused the code mixing in the YouTube video of Maudy Ayunda's booklist playlist. This study uses a sociolinguistic approach. The analysis of this code mixing data uses the code mixing theory proposed by Suwito (1983). The data collection methods and techniques used are listening, tapping, free of conversation, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis methods and techniques used are translational matching methods with the determinant element sorting technique (PUP technique) to differentiate the writing array and the determinant element sorting technique (PUP technique) to differentiate references. The results of the analysis of the research data found that (1) the forms of code mixing in the form of inserting elements in the form of words amounted to 22 data, the insertion of phrase elements amounted to 13 data, the insertion of baster elements amounted to 12 data, the insertion of elements in the form of word repetition amounted to 2 data, the insertion of elements in the form of expressions or idioms amounted to 2 data, and the insertion of clauses amounted to 6 data, (2) the type of code mixing that occurred in the YouTube video of Maudy Ayunda's booklist playlist was mixed code to the outside, and (3) the factors that cause code mixing in the YouTube video of Maudy Ayunda's booklist playlist are based on attitudes, namely to show ability, development and introduction of new cultures; background in language, namely the desired effect or result; and the habit factor of the speaker
