Leksikon Martonun Ulos pada Masyarakat Batak Toba di Desa Si Raja Hutagalung Kecamatan Siatas Barita Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara: Kajian Ekolinguistik

Abstract

This research aims to describe the lexicon and form of lexicon in martonun ulos and also to describe people's understanding of martonun ulos lexicon. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods with an ecolinguistic approach that includes interrelation, interaction, and interdependence parameters. Data in the form of lexicons contained in the martonun ulos lexicon and data sources are obtained from primary data. The methods used for data collection in this research are chap method, observation, and in-depth interview. The chakap method consists of several techniques, the techniques used are the open chakap technique, the recording technique, and the note-taking technique. The language analysis method uses the commensurate method with the decisive element sorting technique. Based on this research, 26 lexicons were obtained which were classified into two groupings, namely (1) verb lexicon as many as 11 lexicons and (2) noun lexicon as many as 15 lexicons. The understanding of the Si Raja Hutagakung village community towards the martonun ulos lexicon shows that the community still interacts, interacts, and interacts with the 26 martonun ulos lexicons.
