dc.description.abstract | School connectedness is the belief held by students that they are supported and cared for by adults in their school. School connectedness influences how students fell at school. This study aims to see the role of school in student well-being at the High School level in Medan City. This study involved 100 high school students taken using the accidental sampling method. The research method is a quantitative research method with data collection using a likert scale. The instrument used is the SCS (The School Connectedness Scale) scale adapted by researchers from the theory of Lohmeier and Lee (2011) and the Student Well-being scale adapted by Junita (2021). The data was analyzed using a simple regression analysis technique which showed a value (p < 0.001) < 0.05 which indicates that there is a role of school connectedness in student well-being at the high school level in the city of Medan. School connectedness provides an effective contribution of 13.8% to student well-being in improving student well-being at the high school level. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the higher the school connectedness, the higher the student well-being at the high school level in the city of Medan. | en_US |
