Adolescence is a time when someone searches for their identity, especially in finding the right career in the future. In adolescence, someone is in the exploration stage in their career planning journey. Career maturity is the readiness of attitudes and cognitive to make educational and vocational choices, as well as readiness of attitudes for active involvement in planning and exploring future work. One of the factors that influences career maturity is parental support. Parents play a role in their children's career development through various kinds of support. This study aims to determine the positive role of Parental Social Support on Career Maturity in grade XI high school students in Medan City. This study was conducted quantitatively with a sample of 277 grade XI high school students in Medan City with a convenience sampling technique. This study uses a simple linear regression data analysis method with data collection using a Likert scale. The results of data analysis show a significance value of p<0.001 and R2=0.080, which proves that there is a positive role of parental social support of 8.0% on career maturity in grade XI high school students in Medan City.
