dc.description.abstractOne of Indonesia’s famous plantation products which is a substitute for more expensive food sources is the melinjo plant. The conceptual design of a melinjo emping printer using a pneumatic system is an innovative solution to increase the efficiency and quality of melinjo emping production. Melinjo emping printer design design using Solidworks software. This research method involves conceptual design by drawing techniques and simulating emping melinjo printers with a pneumatic system using software. The dimensions of the tool are 50 cm long, 50 cm wide and 50 cm high. A motion simulation test (motion study) was carried out for five seconds. The shape change is 347,7 mm, the safety factor value is 3,003 and the stress value is 24,990,000 N/m² obtained from static simulation testing. The resulting deformation is smaller than the material strength, so this design can be continued to the tool production stage.en_US
