dc.description.abstractWith the depletion of fossil fuels due to the increasing need for fuel, humans must take the right steps to overcome the existing problems. Briquettes are an alternative fuel option that can reduce dependence on fossil fuels. In fact, manual and hydraulic briquette molding often experience problems, namely fluctuations in size and presure in manual molding and leaks in the hydraulic system. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to create and test a briquette printer that uses a pneumatic system so as to increase productivity and briquette quality. The results of this study show that the effective capacity is 3,179 kg/hour. The percentage of material left behind is 1,56%. The briquette density value reached 0,58 gr/cm3. The briquette moisture content value is 4,3% and the briquette compresive strength value is 7,22 kg/cm2. The HPP of briquettes is Rp.13.500/kg. BEP is 100 kg/year. R/C ratio is 1,265. NPV of Rp.345.915.642.25. The amount of IRR value obtained in this briquette processing is 45,66% and the PP of this business is 3,6 months. Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that this tool is feasible to operate and has met the quality standards of Indonesian briquette quality.en_US
