    Abstract
The use of synthetic gas fuel (syn-gas) in renewable energy offers an efficient and sustainable solution to global energy needs. Syn-gas, which consists of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), and a small amount of methane (CH4), can be produced through the gasification process of biomass or other organic materials. The main applications of syngas include electricity generation via gas turbines or power generating engines, hydrogen production for fuel cells, and conversion to liquid fuels such as methanol or diesel via the Fischer-Tropsch process. In addition, syngas can be used in various industrial processes and heating systems. The main advantages of syngas are its ability to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, utilize biomass waste, and increase energy efficiency. Development of gasification technology and the use of syngas continues to increase efficiency and reduce costs, making syngas an important component in the future renewable energy portfolio. This experimental research was conducted to evaluate the use of syngas fuel as a renewable energy source. Syngas, a gas mixture consisting of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), and methane (CH4), is produced through the biomass gasification process. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance and efficiency of syngas in various renewable energy applications, including electricity generation, hydrogen production, and conversion to liquid fuels. The research procedures involve the production of syngas from various types of biomass, gas composition testing, and performance evaluation in energy generation systems. The research results show that syngas has significant potential in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing energy efficiency.
