Bentuk Interaksi Sosial Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa Karya Lin Aiko: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract

In the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko, there are various kinds of social interactions carried out by the main character. Social interaction is characterized by communication and actions carried out by individuals with individuals, individuals with groups, and groups with groups. The aim of this research is to describe the form of social interaction of the main character in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko: a study of Literary Sociology based on the theory of Gillin and Gillin. The data that has been identified through heuristic and hermeneutic reading techniques in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods by describing the data. The results of research on the social interactions of the main characters in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko are in two forms, namely the associative form of social interaction which includes cooperation, accommodation, assimilation, and the disassociative form of social interaction which includes competition, contravention and conflict. From the results of the data reduction analysis carried out, 43 data were found in the form of associative social interactions of the main characters in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko. Meanwhile, there are 40 data on the form of dissociative social interaction of the main character in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko. The results of these findings show that the main character in the novel Elegi Tawa Niyusa by Lin Aiko has 13 forms of social interaction.
