    Abstract
    This thesis discusses the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative Transportation as Tarutung-Medan Land Transportation (2006-2016). This research aims to explain the formation of the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative company; structure and organizational structure within the company; accommodation management; and determining service rates in the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative Company. This research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this research are literature study and field study. The results of this research are that the factor in the formation of the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative company was due to the community's need for the lack of Tarutung-Medan transportation modes; business opportunities; creating jobs; and there was an internal conflict with the Medan Raya Tour company. Structure and organization in the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative company, namely as Directors (Jubel Silitonga), Secretary (Mania Siregar), Chairman I (Antoni Sianturi), Treasurer (B. Br Sinaga), Chairman Supervisor (M.Pakpahan), Supervisor (Renol Hutauruk ), and members (L. Sirait/cashier, S. Manurung/central agent, and driver). The management of the Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative company has managed the accommodation used efficiently and effectively. The Bintang Tapanuli Cooperative Company has set fare rates for each counter, fare rates which vary depending on the passenger's destination to the specified counter, as well as delivery of goods and packages.
