Pengaruh Kesadaran dan Pemahaman Karyawan, Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi, Pengendalian Internal, Kultur dan Etika Organisasi terhadap Mitigasi Risiko Operasional Studi Empiris Bank SUMUT KC Iskandar Muda Medan

Abstract

Globalization has brought commercial banks in Medan into a wider global economic network. This research aims to analyze how factors such as employee awareness, information technology, internal control, and organizational culture and ethics influence operational risk mitigation at Bank Sumut KC Iskandar Muda Medan. The method used is descriptive and explanatory, with data collected through a survey of 30 permanent employees. The research results show: Employee awareness and understanding positively influences operational risk mitigation. Information systems and technology do not have a significant effect. Internal control has a positive influence on risk mitigation. Organizational culture and ethics also have a positive influence. It is recommended that future research increase the sample size and consider additional variables for more comprehensive results.
